Mosques in New York — Prayer Times & Masjid Directory

New York City has over 200 mosques, making it the most mosque-dense city in America. The Islamic Cultural Center of New York on 96th Street in Manhattan is the largest and most prominent. Masjid Al-Taqwa in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn is a landmark of the African American Muslim community. The Islamic Society of Bay Ridge serves Arab communities in Brooklyn. Masjid Malcolm Shabazz in Harlem carries the legacy of Malcolm X. In Queens, the Islamic Center of Long Island (though technically in Westbury, it serves Queens Muslims) and countless neighborhood masjids serve the diverse Muslim community. Friday prayers often draw thousands at major New York masjids.
