Mosques in Boston — Prayer Times & Masjid Directory

Boston has over 30 mosques and Islamic centers in the metro area. The Islamic Society of Boston (ISB) has two campuses — Roxbury (downtown Boston) and Cambridge — that serve as the main community hubs. The Islamic Center of New England in Sharon and Quincy are major suburban institutions. The Muslim community at Harvard (Harvard Islamic Society) and MIT is very active and has a strong presence in Cambridge. The Mosque for the Praising of Allah in Roxbury is a historic institution for Boston's African American Muslim community. Somali and East African communities in Dorchester have their own prayer spaces. The Boston Muslim community is notable for its academic and intellectual depth given the university presence.
